Q4 2020 Performance of Top Pirate Games on Android in France

As the year 2020 came to a close, pirate-themed games continued to entertain mobile users in France. Data from Sensor Tower provides an overview of how these games fared in the fourth quarter.

Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW from JOYCITY Corp. saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking at nearly $13K in the final week of November before settling around $11K at the year's end. Downloads showed a downward trend from approximately 2K at the start of Q4 to 1.2K by December's end, while weekly active users decreased from 3.1K to just over 2K.

Pirate Kings™️ by Playtika did not record any new downloads during this period, which is an interesting note. However, its revenue saw a rise from $1.5K to around $1.9K by the end of December. The game's active users declined from 4K to 3.2K over the quarter.

For Mutiny: Pirate Survival RPG by Helio Games, revenue grew from $1K in its release week to over $2K by the close of the year. Pirates Outlaws from Fabled Game experienced a revenue boost in the final week of December, reaching over $1K. Downloads varied throughout the quarter, with a high of 242 in mid-November and ending the quarter at 229. Unfortunately, weekly active user data for this game was not provided.

Lastly, ONE PIECE BON! BON! JOURNEY!! by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. saw revenue peak at $1.3K in mid-October, but it ended the quarter on a lower note at $254. Active user counts showed a steady decline from 1.6K to 818 over the quarter, with no new downloads recorded.
